Japanese pop-rock duo Do As Infinity is set to return to Singapore as part of Japanese music festival Natsu Rock on June 22 at Siloso Beach in Sentosa, Singapore.

Formed in 1999, Do As Infinity previously came to Singapore in 2017, when they performed at Capitol Theatre. The duo, known for their singles “Fukai Mori” and “Yesterday & Today”, has toured all parts of the globe, including Indonesia, South America and Taiwan.

Meanwhile, other musicians to perform at Natsu Rock include all-female rock band BAND-MAID, DJ Kazu, who plays J-Pop and anime tracks, and Shinea Nishizawa, whose debut song “Fubuki” was used as an ending theme for anime Kantai Collection.

BAND-MAID®, formed in July 2013. Singer/guitarist Miku Kobato, formerly an employee of a Japanese maid café, envisioned forming a band that juxtaposed the maid image with rock music. Kobato recruited lead guitarist Kanami Tōno after an Internet search. Tōno had performed as a singer-songwriter and suggested her occasional backing drummer Akane Hirose for the new band. Hirose in turn suggested bassist Misa, with whom she had attended music school

Natsu Rock will be held in conjunction with the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
